TWO years today the flame will be burning bright above the Olympic Stadium and the London 2012 Games will be under way.

And you could be part of the biggest sporting event in this country for 50 years as a Games Maker.

Lord Coe is calling on Daily Mirror readers to come and join the party by becoming one of 70,000 volunteers needed to help make London 2012 a Games to be proud of.He said: “Volunteering is not for the faint-hearted. London 2012 will take in 26 sports over 17 days and you could just as easily be stewarding a car park as handing a drink to Usain Bolt after the 100m final.”
